RUST matt effect glaze for your earthenware ceramic & pottery house and why you must use it to achieve remarkable matt exciting final effects in production
Rust Degussa ceramics Effect Brush-On Earthenware Glaze is available prepared to use straight from the bottle, smoothly stir well then apply plenty of coats or one thick layer to your bisque. Let the glaze dry move it to the kiln for firing. For suitable achievements fire 1040°C with a 30-minute soak. The dry glaze must be dissolved prior to use.
Liquid Glaze Rust
The glaze is best for brush on. It should be coated 2-3 times with a smooth brush. When drying please fire between 1000-1080°C. Shake and stir very nicely before to use. If the glaze becomes thickened more than time easily add water and stir thoroughly.
Dry powder Rust
This glaze is to be dissolved in water. I suggest the proportion - 60%:40% (40g. glaze and 25ml. water). Mellowing and screening prior use is pertinent. Each glaze is suggested to be tested with mixed layers on the body bothered and under determined conditions.
